* Studied at Abdullah Al-Salem Higher Secondary School, Kuwait, 1979.

* Obtained a license for Arabic calligraphy from Istanbul, Turkey, 2004.

* Trained with Kuwaiti Mustafa bin Nakhy

* He keeps in touch with the Arabic calligraphy pioneers in Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

* He has 25 years experience in papers making art

* Participated in Exhibition on Turkey at Cultural Foundation, Abu Dhabi 1998.

* Bagged 1st prize in Al Owais competition for creative studies, Dubai, 1999, 2000, 2001.
